When attempting to publish ads to Facebook with ROUX, one of the errors you may receive is related to Meta's requirement to certify compliance for their non-discrimination policy.
When you receive this error, you will directed to this guide in Meta's help center: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/338925176776440
Since ROUX is considered a system user, you will need to complete the "certify compliance for accounts with system users" step outlined in Meta's help center.
For more in-depth guidance, please follow these steps:
Go to Meta Ads Manager, then Business Settings.
In the Users section, select System users.
Select the Add button to review Meta's Discriminatory Practices policy.
Select the I accept button to confirm compliance on behalf of your system users.
To continue, either exit out of the prompt or add a new system user.
If the modal doesn't pop up, then you've already accepted it for the system users and will look like this:
While ROUX technically creates a system user during the account setup process, Facebook does not show it under the System users section of Business Manager. Instead, it just shows up under Connected apps and is listed as a user under the assets (pages, ad accounts, etc.).
